“Vucji wine cellar” from Sombor is a young family winery founded in 2012. Vuk Vujko is a graduate engineer of fruit and viticulture, and he combined his love towards wine and art with knowledge and experience, and thus offered all wine lovers a remarkable melody of divine tastes, sophisticated colors and flavours, as well as artistic experience.
This family vineyard is located in the area of Sombor, in a small village called Backi Monostor, which is a part of Backi viticultural region. Grape varieties represented in our wines are Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from white grapes and Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Frankovka from black grapes. However, that is not the end of the road for us. In the near future, we are planning to expand our collection with old autochthonous grape variety Tamjanika- black and white grape, as well as one of the newest grape variety Probus, grown at the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad.
